==Fast Strats==
This room is often used as an easy way to harvest [[Dark Beam]] and [[Light Beam]] ammo, due to the presence of the Hydlings near the dark portal. The [[Annihilator Beam]] makes this especially fast. In speedruns, however, the fastest way of obtaining this ammo entails shooting at the Hydlings in mid-air with light beam while moving towards the step, and shooting them a couple times with dark beam afterwards. This makes it so that [[Hydrodynamo Station]] starts loading faster.
