'''X-Ray Visor''' is a visor upgrade in [[Metroid Prime]]. It is the final visor you are meant to obtain in the game's intended route, and it is found in [[Life Grove]]. It is intended to be used to locate invisible platforms, such as those found in [[Great Tree Hall]] and [[Root Cave]], though it isn't required to actually stand on these platforms. Its only mandatory usage is for the [[Omega Pirate]] boss fight, where it is required in order to damage the boss. Without it, Omega Pirate is not able to take damage, and Samus would not be able to get the [[Phazon Suit]]. It is also used during the [[Metroid Prime (Essence)|Essence]] fight to see the boss during one of its phases, as well as the invisible drone fight in [[Central Dynamo]].
