Frost Cave is a room located in the Phendrana Drifts region of Metroid Prime. It contains a missile expansion and a Secret World.
Without Grapple Beam
Doing this room fast in speedruns involves skipping the Grapple Beam. There are a couple of methods of doing this.
Scan Dash Method

To Frost Cave Access
This is a low% demonstration showing how the Grapple Beam can also be skipped on the way back to Frost Cave Access.
Save Station C Without Space Jump
In order to go to Save Station C without Space Jump, a UBJ is done.
Segmented Strat After Saving
If doing segmented low%, this strat can be done after using the save station.
Getting the Missile
100% Strat
Similar to the Scan Dash strat for any%, except it isn't bent so that Samus can land near the stalagmite in order to shoot it.
Without Grapple (Wii)
This strategy involves using the Ice Beam on the Hunter Metroid in order to stand on it to jump on the glider, where it will be able to take you to the other side of the room.
Escape Without Space Jump/Gravity Suit
Using a special bomb jump, it is possible to leave the water without either the Space Jump Boots or the Gravity Suit.
Secret World
Much like with Early Newborn, it is possible to abuse the Glider in this room in order to go out of bounds. This is frequently done in low% runs as a way of avoiding climbing Phendrana's Edge.
