Ruined Nursery is a room located in the Chozo Ruins region of Metroid Prime. It contains a missile expansion.

Faster Methods of Getting the Item

The intended method of getting this item is very slow, so alternative strategies exist to get it faster.

Bomb Jump Method

By standing on the vines, getting into the correct position, morphing, and then laying a bomb, you can cause the destructible block to break from the outside. This can be used as an alternative way to get inside the Morph Ball tunnel, putting Samus far closer to the missile.

No Bombs Method

With Space Jump

This method doesn't involve laying any bombs.

Without Space Jump

It can also be done without Space Jump.

War Wasp Method

Additionally, it is possible to activate the War Wasps and use those to divert Samus' momentum into the tunnel where the item is located.
