Wave/Sun refers to a trick in Metroid Prime in which the Wave Beam and the Artifact of Sun are collected at the same time, which bypasses the requirement of the Plasma Beam that is normally required in Chozo Ice Temple. This is done by getting Infinite Speed in Chozo Ice Temple while the map is focused on Chapel Tunnel. After boosting, the game will put Samus in multiple places at once, resulting in Samus obtaining both items at about the same time. It is mainly used in any% speedruns and saves about 45 seconds over not doing it and instead using the Infinite Speed spot in Chapel of the Elders. The wallcrawl involved is generally considered to be one of the easier wallcrawls to learn for speedruns, due to its shorter length and relatively less demanding movement requirements.

If the Infinite Speed from before is successful, you will be automatically teleported inside this room after obtaining the Wave Beam. There will also be a clone of Samus in front of you, a side effect of having activated multiple triggers at once. Simply leave the room from here and continue the rest of your run.
