Agon Energy Controller is a room located in the Agon Wastes in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. This is where Samus can acquire the Amber Translator and deliver the energy back from Dark Agon.

Amber Translator for Speedruns

In speedruns, it's often the case that Samus will enter this room via Main Energy Controller for the sole purpose of obtaining the Amber Translator. However, the game doesn't give Samus the translator unless she first activates the trigger that locks the door. Once this trigger is activated, the game will be able to give Samus Amber, after which the door will unlock.
