Pit Tunnel is a room located in the Magmoor Caverns region of Metroid Prime. It contains a Secret World that takes advantage of a Triclops.

Acquiring the Space Jump Boots in Alcove disables layer "JUMP BLOCKER" in this room.
General Information
If Samus doesn't have the Space Jump Boots, the space above the fence will be blocked by invisible walls. This is to prevent Samus from bypassing the section of the room with the Triclops in it.
Strat Comparison
As seen in the video below, the two methods of traversing this room are very similar in how fast they are. Doing the dash above the fence can be slightly faster if done well.
Infinite Speed
While the map is on the wrong room, it is possible to get a Triclops to get Samus stuck inside the floor. This can be used to get Infinite Speed.
