This room has a dedicated Secret World page. For more information, see Root Cave SW and Root Cave SW (Wii).
Root Cave is a room in the Tallon Overworld region of Metroid Prime. It contains a missile expansion.
Without Grapple Beam
By performing a dash off of the Zoomer, it is possible to make it to the upper portion of the room without the Grapple Beam. The platforms may require the X-Ray Visor to see, but it is possible to land on them without having obtained it.
Alternate Method
If entering the room from Transport Tunnel B, it may be faster to perform this alternate method, which involves climbing from the bottom and dashing from a standable rock that is attached to the wall.
Wii (Dash Method)
This method requires a Floaty Dash that is bent upwards, and uses that dash to land on a standable part of the distant platform that allows for Samus to get to the upper portion of the room.
Wii (Spring Ball Method)
TODO: Description
Secret World
Climb to the top of Root Cave. Face the plasma door, then turn 150 degrees to your right. Jump to the crooked root. Face the middle of the room, then do an L-Jump outwards then back onto invisible ceiling. DBJ until you're out of bounds.
Wii
This SW is also doable on Wii.
