Without Bombs
There are two methods of obtaining this item without the Morph Ball Bombs.
Using Power Bombs
By standing on specific standable spots, you can enter the bomb slots without needing to use bombs. From there, a Power Bomb can be used to activate the slots.
Out of Bounds/Load Delay Method
This method entails going out of bounds, manually activating the load for Vault, and then using Load Delay to get to the center before the room fully loads. After collecting the item, the Boost Ball is used to get out. The video below has all pauses removed.
