Ruins Entryway is a room located in the Phendrana Drifts region of Metroid Prime.

Defeating Thardus in Quarantine Cave disables layer "1st pass enemies" in this room, and enables layer "2nd pass enemies".

Movement Comparison

This video demonstrates two methods of travelling through this room, with R-jumping having the potential to save up to a handful of frames. It is always faster to roll through if you are unable to touch the load trigger for the room with the dash to the platform, however.
