Overview
The Frigate Orpheon was likely the first area created in Metroid Prime's development, and as a result, it contains some odd methods of connecting rooms not seen elsewhere in the game. During the Frigate Escape sequence, a hatch blasts open connecting Biotech Research Area 1 to Subventilation Shaft Section A. This connection site does contain any sort of door, and therefore, during the time it takes Subventilation Shaft Section A to load, there is an open hole leading straight out of bounds at this doorway, not blocked by anything. If Samus moves quickly enough, she can beat the load time and jump out of bounds through this hole. TODO: Add image of load trigger, add image of hole.
