Transport Tunnel A is a room located in the Magmoor Caverns region in Metroid Prime. It contains an energy tank, which is commonly known as "race tank" due to its convenient location in the any% route. Obtaining race tank costs only 8 seconds, greatly increasing the chance of a successful run with minimal time loss. Getting race tank is recommended for newer runners, while experienced players may only get it during marathon runs.

As you enter the room from Monitor Station, enter the Morph Ball Tunnel. Immediately there's a vertical space that you can access with a Double Bomb Jump. Go left and continue with more Double Bomb Jumps until you reach the item.
