Transport to Phendrana Drifts South is an elevator room located in the Magmoor Caverns region of Metroid Prime.
Fast Strats (For the Save Station)
There are several ways of moving through this room. From Phendrana Drifts to Transport to Phendrana Drifts South (TPDS), having wave beam equipped, shooting straight ahead (hold A to fire on the first possible frame!) and morphing into boosting is the most effective.
For coming down to enter the Save Room from Phendrana Drifts, using a missile or a different beam on the wave beam door will reflect it backwards to the save room. Using Power-Beam to missile then spam power shots, or just power beam shots, is a very effective strategy. Take note, if you are going to do this, it is best to turn on Power Beam after opening the door in Transport Access.
From Magmoor Workstation's side, the segmented strat is to missile the save room door, dash with a down-bend while scanning the post, then dash and bend up to up-right to the save door. For Single-Segment, scanning the post after equipping Ice Beam and combat dashing, with a slight up-bend on the second dash, will allow the player to enter the elevator the frame that the hologram activates.
Secret World
It is possible to get out of bounds in this room with Floaty Jump.
