Alpha Blogg is a mini-boss found in Main Hydrochamber in Torvus Bog. It is normally fought after collecting Gravity Boost.
General Information
- Health: 800
- Can be killed with Screw Attack
Strategies
In an Any% run, it is ideal to "fight him."
With Screw Attack
Doing Air Underwater after collecting Gravity Boost will allow you to Screw Attack into him to kill him.

General Info
- Alpha Blogg normally requires you to "stun" him (firing a Charge Shot/Missile of some kind) at him before he charges at you.
- As the fight progresses, it starts to become random whether or not he opens his mouth.
Strategy
- When the fight starts, be prepared to use a Super Missile. Ideally, you want him to charge at you immediately. When his mouth opens, use a Super Missile and strafe away.
- Once he's stuck on the wall, fire another Charge Shot or Missile to force him into a charge.
- Rinse and repeat. If you're low on Missiles, resort to using Dark Beam instead.

Skipping Alpha Blogg
It is possible to skip Alpha Blogg by simply doing a Bomb Space Jump to the lowest platform and leaving the room. If you fail the Air Underwater strat, resort to using the BSJ to skip fighting Alpha Blogg.
