Crater Entry Point is a room located in the Impact Crater region of Metroid Prime. It contains a save station.

Fast Strats

There are multiple methods of approaching this room:

  • Segmented runs will take advantage of the save station here by R-jumping slightly left from the origin point
  • Single-segment runs will want to turn left to dash off of the save station's scan point to the plasma door on the right.

There are two methods of leaving this room:

  • Shoot the door open after jumping or dashing to it, then R-jumping into a bunny hop in Crater Tunnel A
  • Dash off of the save station through the door into Crater Tunnel A so that one hits the load trigger more quickly. The latter of course is much more difficult because of the collision and geometry.
