Venomous Pond is a room located in the Dark Torvus Bog region of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It contains one of the three Dark Torvus Temple Keys.
Getting the Item
The intended way of getting this room's item involves using Grapple Beam. However, there are many ways of avoiding this requirement.
Screw Attack Method
If Samus has Screw Attack, it is trivial to get this item quickly.
Scan Dash Method
This method is about as fast as the Screw Attack method, and entails performing a Scan Dash off of one of the nearby scan points. In the video below, a light beacon is used for the dash.
Roll Jump Method
It is also possible to Roll Jump to the item.
Ingsphere Cache Jump Method
By far the easiest method is to simply jump off of the nearby Ingsphere Cache to the platform that has the item.
