Alcove is a room in the Tallon Overworld region of Metroid Prime. In the developer-intended route, it is accessed by boosting up the half-pipe in Tallon Canyon and entering the Morph Ball tunnel with bombs then going through Gully. It contains the Space Jump Boots, the first item that is collected in most categories.

Slope Jump
Normally, the game expects you to get out of this room with Space Jump. However, by performing a Slope Jump, it is possible to get out of the room without SJ. This is useful in randomizers.
