Turn around about 180 degrees and you should see another branch slightly higher up. Jump towards it too. Life Grove is a room located in the Tallon Overworld region of Metroid Prime. It contains the Artifact of Chozo and the X-Ray Visor, as well as a Secret World.

You can L-Jump from a rock near the X-Ray Visor pickup to reach Life Grove Tunnel and skip the Chozo Ghosts fight.
