Backwards Entry from Research Access

Due to the way the any% route is structured, the first and only time we enter this room in that route is backwards. This means that the wall that we normally blow up will block Samus from entering the rest of the room. To get around this, the player needs to have Boost Ball and boost through the wall. From here, the player needs to use the spinner and break the wall as normal to get out.

Without Boost Ball

By repeatedly entering the spinner on the top level of the room, the Pulse Beam will slowly rotate, allowing you to blow up all the walls without Boost Ball.

Softlock

In the original NTSC 0-00 version, if the player kills the Phazon Elite and leaves the room without collecting the Artifact of Warrior, the artifact will disappear permanently, making the game unbeatable. This glitch was fixed in all subsequent releases of the game.

Secret World

This room contains a TAS-only secret world.
