Temple Transport C

Transport C Access is a room located in the Great Temple in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It contains a Secret World. In the middle of the room is a statue that blocks the path. It requires Light Beam to move.

Secret World

By having the game think you're in Temple Transport C, then moving towards a precise spot with the correct angle, then morphing, the game will reposition Samus out of bounds. This secret world is doable in Trilogy.

Transition

Once out of bounds, Samus will typically fail to transition into Transport C Access unless deliberate and specific action is taken to ensure that it transitions. This is because the geometry surrounding the door is restrictive, and actually being able to transition entails precise movement to get around it. The video below compares two such methods of transitioning.

If Samus doesn't immediately transition, there is a backup that is available to quickly attempt to rebound. Note that this relies on how quickly you are able to aether jump from the bottom of the box, which will vary between attempts.

Once Samus has successfully transitioned into the room, she will be free to wallcrawl across the rest of the Great Temple. In speedruns, the strategy is to shoot the statue with Light Beam in order to move it then move towards Temple Sanctuary to trigger the Alpha Splinter boss sequence. This will warp Samus inside Temple Sanctuary, where the fight can easily be skipped if the Space Jump Boots are acquired.
