Triclops Pit is a room located in the Magmoor Caverns region of Metroid Prime. It contains a missile expansion and a Secret World.

Defeating the 1st group of pirates in Control Tower disables layer "1st Pass" in this room, and enables layer "2nd pass scripting".
Fast Strat
One of the fastest strategies for getting across this room is to lock on to the Triclops in the distance, and perform a dash off of it.
Getting the Item
The item in this room is covered by a bit of rock. Ordinarily, Samus is encouraged to use the X-Ray Visor to land on a series of invisible platforms in order to find the item. However, X-Ray isn't required to break the rock, and all it takes is a good dash to get it, eliminating the need to use the platforms.
Without Space Jump
This alternate method doesn't require the Space Jump Boots, nor does it require dashing.
