Communication Area is a room located in the Temple Grounds in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It contains a missile expansion on the middle level of the room, which requires either Morph Ball Bombs or Power Bombs to acquire. The scan post connected to the satellite doesn't do anything, and has no practical function.
Getting the Missiles Without Space Jump
By jumping on the standable collision on the bottom of the satellite, it is possible to reach the middle level of the room and get the missile expansion without the Space Jump Boots.
