Acquiring the Plasma Beam in this room disables layer "1st pass enemies" in Phazon Processing Center and enables layer "2nd pass enemies" in that room.
Movement Out of Plasma Processing
In most categories, after getting the Plasma Beam the goal is to get to the room South Core Tunnel as quickly as possible from Geothermal Core. The video below shows the easiest method of quickly getting to this room.
