Portal Access is a room located in the Dark Agon Wastes region of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Its intended purpose is to provide a shorter path to Judgment Pit. In some speedrun categories, this is used to go faster, as the room can be traversed without the Space Jump Boots.
No Space Jump
There are multiple ways of bypassing this room without the Space Jump Boots.
Bladepod Method
This is the standard method of crossing this room without Space Jump, and also the easiest. Simply jump on the Bladepod, and then jump onto the ledge. It is very important that the Bladepod doesn't get destroyed before attempting the jump, as it makes this method impossible.
