Reactor Core Entrance is a room located in the Space Pirate Frigate in Metroid Prime. It consists of a scan post that activates a door opened using the Morph Ball, with two turrets at the top of the room and a save station on the side. Due to the placement of this save station, this is where the first segment ends in Segmented Speedruns.

On the Frigate Orpheon, the parts of this room which are separated by the blue door are together considered one room. When the Frigate Orpheon crashes in Tallon Overworld, this room is split into two rooms, Reactor Access and Savestation

After shooting the door to the save station, use the Turret to quickly dash into the save station.
