Abandoned Base

Abandoned Base is a room located in the Sky Temple Grounds region of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It contains a Secret World. In the natural route, it is the barrier to Torvus Bog, normally requiring Dark Suit to get to the light portal.
Slope Jump to Light Portal
With the Space Jump Boots, it is possible to perform a Slope Jump to the light portal. It is also possible to make it to the light portal without the Dark Suit and without any Energy Tanks. This trick used to be referred to as Dark Suit Skip in older speedrun routes, but with the discovery of additional sequence breaks, this term is now obsolete.
Alternate Method
This method of getting to the portal is similar to the above, but it uses Screw Attack in order to lose less health overall.
Secret World
By landing on a standable spot on the side of the lift, and then jumping to the top of the lift, it is possible to get out of bounds.
