Ventilation Shaft, also known as Vent Shaft, is a room located in the Phazon Mines region of Metroid Prime. It contains an Energy Tank and is one of the most infamous rooms in Low% categories, due to its half-pipe which is difficult to get over without the Boost Ball.

Without Boost Ball
It is possible to traverse Vent Shaft without Boost Ball by executing a difficult HPBJ. This HPBJ is much easier with the Space Jump Boots due to fact that having Space Jump increases the vertical speed cap. It is common for players to spend multiple hours attempting the HPBJ before succeeding even once. However, with enough practice, experienced players can often get it in a small number of attempts.
