Dark Samus 1 is a boss found in Main Reactor in Agon Wastes. She guards the Dark Beam.

Any%

In this category, you should have a Power Bomb for this fight. As such, immediately morph when the fight starts. Then, roll up-left until you cut her off and lay your Power Bomb right about the same time she raises her shield. As soon as you lay the Power Bomb, curl over to the right and roll past her shield. It is important to go around her shield on the right side (Dark Samus' left) as this consistently avoids crashes. Going the opposite direction is easier and occasionally works, but risks the game crashing.

In this category, you will have Annihilator Beam for this fight. This is the fastest possible weapon to defeat Dark Samus 1 with, as it does 5x damage for some bizarre reason. As soon as the fight starts, fire a Missile at Dark Samus to stun her, then spam uncharged Annihilator shots until she dies.

You use a Power Bomb just like you would for Any%. The only difference is that you access the fight coming from the Transport to Sanctuary Fortress elevator instead of the Sandigger wallcrawl.

Glitchless

In this category, you shoot her with fully charged and non fully charged Power Beam shots until she reaches about a little bit more then half of her life. Then, you bait her to the opposite site of the room from where the elevator is and you shoot a missile and now 2 slightly charged shots at her to lower her health a little bit more until she reaches the 2nd phase. If you got her on the exact point (or in the near of it) then she doesn´t have such a long travel time where she is invincible. In the second phase you bait her with a combination of Missiles, slightly and fully charged Charge Beam shots to do as less "invincible" attacks as possible.
